Introduction Air Experience Flight

 Your the flight starts with a pre-flight safety and operational briefing with your instructor. You’ll learn about the primary controls of the glider and how they are used to control the glider in-flight.

Once in the air you will be given the opportunity to take control of the aircraft at certain stages of the flight under the supervision of your instructor.

After climbing to 3500ft your instructor will demonstrate how to control the glider and then it's your turn fly the glider, under the watch full eye of your instructor of course.

Depending on the weather the flight duration for this flight is approximately 25 minutes.

Conditions apply:

There is a strict 100kg weight limit.

All passengers will be weighed prior to flight and passengers weighing more than 100kg will not be flown.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any one weighing more than 100kg or compromising the safety of our operation.

No refunds will be given. 

Passengers must be over 18 years of age .

Session Length

This experience is available on weekends. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability and weather conditions.
The duration of your flight will be approximately 40-45 minutes.
Depending on weather conditions, the time and duration of your flight may change.

Numbers on the Day

The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your instructor during your flight.

Weather

Gliding is affected by the weather and your flight may be rescheduled or curtailed if the conditions are unsuitable.
It is therefore difficult to schedule an exact time for your flight.
It is essential that you call 0412 145 144 at 9am on the day of your experience to confirm that the weather is suitable and that we are operating.
The duty instructor will then arrange a mutually convenient time taking into account the weather or rebook if the conditions are not suitable.

Dress CodeGlide Sydney

Gliding is an outdoor sport so dress to the prevailing conditions. Pants or shorts and a shirt or t-shirt and jumper are suitable along with sneakers or similar footwear. A hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended.

Other Info

All our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and we pride ourselves on over 50 years of safe flying. Our pilots are fully qualified instructors. You will need to sign a waiver prior to flying acknowledging you understand and accept the risks associated with gliding. Remember to bring your camera!

Guidelines

You must be over 18 years of age to participate in this experience. 
There is also a maximum weight limit of 100kg per person. No prior gliding experience is necessary.
